Page Turner's book choice for October is "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone" by J.K. Rowling. Bring a copy from home or check out the book through the partnership. For the whole month of September on Libby there is no wait time for this book and it is available in ebook or audio. Join us on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 from 4-5pm. We’ll have a fun book discussion, games, and snacks. You can sign up at the front desk or call the Polson Library at 406-883-8225.

STEAM Mondays @ The Polson Library Join us for STEAM Monday in the Community Room, starting back up on October 19th from 4-5 p.m. Starting in November, STEAM Monday will take place once a month on the 2nd Mondday of each month. This series features fun, hands-on activities designed to spark interest in science, technology, engineering, art and math. Come connect, collaborate, and discover the exciting world of STEAM at your library! Ages 10+, children under 10 may attend with an adult.
"Macroinvertebrates: Spooky or Spectacular?" Come view some creatures living in the bottoms of streams, ponds, rivers, and other bodies of water. We will view different types, learn how scientists at the Bio Station use them to learn about water quality, and you'll have the opportunity to create your own unique macroinvertebrate.

Regular Youth Programming

Toddler Time. Join us for this engaging program for 2 - 3 year olds! We'll read active stories, dance, sing, and shake it all about! Thursdays at 10 a.m.
North Lake County Public Library Story Time. Two times each week! Thursdays at 2 p.m. and Saturdays at 10:15 a.m. This Kindergarten readiness program for 3 - 5 year olds includes stories, songs and crafts. Watch for theme announcements on our website and socials. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
