Outreach Services
The library provides “Book Nooks” in various businesses around Polson. We have staff members who fill our book nooks with books generously donated by our supporters. You can find our nooks at:
- Beacon Tire
- Glacier Bank
- Les Schwab
- Mission Valley Aquatic Center
- Polson Bay Laundry
- Polson Tribal Health Clinic
- Providence St. Joseph Hospital (two locations)
- Wash n Go
The library has funded the purchase and installation of eight Little Free Libraries (LFLs) within the library district. Neighborhood residents or visitors to the public places that the LFLs are placed leave a book and take a book to keep the LFLs filled. You can find some of our LFLs at:

- Mission Bay Clubhouse
Assisted Public Library Access
Our Technology Librarian visits our two largest senior living facilities bi-weekly to deliver and pickup books, audiobooks and DVDs as well as provide assistance with electronic devices.
Story Shuttle
Our Youth Services Librarian visits day cares and preschools around Polson each week delivering books and reading stories.
