Montana Library2Go is an online service that offers access to nearly 30,000 downloadable digital e-Books, audiobooks and magazines for our customers.  Our Library is part of a consortium of many libraries across the state that pool our resources so our customers can have a huge variety to choose from.  You can use Montana Library2Go on your computer or access it with the Libby app on your tablet or smart phone.  Find them in your app store. Don’t have a library card? Visit https://mtsc.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/MTSC/ and on the lower left of the screen get a temporary digital card or come in and sign up for a permanent card.

Developed by experienced and passionate educators from across the United States, Educate Station is designed to help libraries support their communities by providing quality educational content for homeschoolers and local schools.  New content will be added as will curriculum for more grades.

Educate Station currently has a full curriculum for grades Pre-K through Second Grade, presented in a recommended learning sequence. The primary subjects are:

  • English Language Arts
  • Math
  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Social-Emotional Learning

Hotspots Available for Checkout

The library has T-Mobile WiFi Hotpots available for checkout. The hotspot lending project is funded in part with Library Services and Technology Act funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, administered by the Montana State Library. We have also received funding from the ECF (Emergency Connectivity Fund). Stop in or give us a call to find out more!

Flipster is an online service that offers access to the following magazines, including their back issues.  We are changing the magazines on this list as there is availability in Libby or if they are no longer published. You can read these on your computer or download the Flipster app from your app store to be read on your tablet or smart phone:

  • Willow & Sage
  • Real Simple
  • Hobby Farms
  • Martha Stewart Living (no longer published)
  • Northwest Travel Magazine

Kanopy is a video streaming solution offering access to more than 30,000 documentaries, movies, and educational videos from thousands of producers such as Criterion Collection, BBC, PBS, Great Courses, Kino Lorber and more!    

You are allowed 5 credits per month.  Once you click to start a movie you use one of your credits.  You have 72 hours of access to that movie.  You can access all Kanopy Kids materials for 30 days with one click.  The Great Courses videos are available for 30 days of access for the course you click on.  You can click on the image to read descriptions before clicking to start any video. Search for the film in Google to watch a trailer.  You can also create a list.  To access Kanopy, just click on the logo to the left and enter your library card number.  If you don’t have a library card, contact us.

The Library provides access to Ancestry.com Library Edition from within the library for in-depth genealogical research.
