Youth Programming

Divya Prakash from Flathead Lake State Park and Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks presents Owl Detectives. April 8 4 to 5 p.m. This program is geared toward K-6th grade, but all are welcome. Kids will learn all about owls through hands-on activities.
Page Turners Middle Grade Book Club reading "Restart" by Gordon Korman. Discussion Wednesday, April 15 4 to 5 p.m. in the library community room. Join us for a fun discussion and snacks! Bring your own copy or borrow from the library.
LEGO Club at the Polson Library! March 27 from 4 to 5 p.m. ages 10 and up All skill levels are welcome. Just bring your ideas - we'll bring the bricks!

Regular Youth Programming

Mother Goose Fridays at 10 a.m. Join us in this interactive program for your 0-24 month old. Enjoy fun rhyming books, finger plays, nursery rhymes, and songs.
Toddler Time. Join us for this engaging program for 2 - 3 year olds! We'll read active stories, dance, sing, and shake it all about! Thursdays at 10 a.m.
North Lake County Public Library Story Time. Two times each week! Thursdays at 2 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m. This Kindergarten readiness program for 3 - 5 year olds includes stories, songs and crafts. Watch for theme announcements on our website and socials. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Developed by experienced and passionate educators from across the United States, Educate Station is designed to help libraries support their communities by providing quality educational content for homeschoolers and local schools.  Now available through 5th Grade!

Educate Station currently has a full curriculum for grades Pre-K through Fifth Grade, presented in a recommended learning sequence. The primary subjects are:
