The annual Summer Reading Program is open to people of all ages.  You are not required to have a library card to participate.

The head of Kalispell’s Big Sky Astronomy Club, Mark Paulson, will present a program that will begin with some direct observation of the sun at 2:00 PM on July 25th, courtesy of Mark’s specialized solar observation equipment, followed by a presentation beginning at 3:30 PM that will be geared more toward adults and school-aged children with a hunger for a more advanced understanding of solar phenomena.

Aug. 8th – PG – 140 minutes

Earthrise Film – unrated – 30 minutes
August 15th at 10:30 a.m.

This documentary “tells the story of the first image captured of the Earth from space in 1968.
