Little Free Libraries for the Polson Area
North Lake County Public Library sponsors eight Little Free Libraries in the Polson area. These weatherproof, handcrafted structures have been creatively painted by local artists Merle Big Bow, LouAnne Krantz, Mike and Edna Lemm., Kenneth F. Lozeau, Jr., and Jim Nesladek.
The libraries contain constantly changing collections of 20 – 25 books which are contributed and shared by passersby of all ages and backgrounds. Based on the “take a book, leave a book” concept, Little Free Libraries have enjoyed great popularity worldwide.
Polson’s are currently in use in various locations around the area.
