Adult Coloring Program

Do you feel stressed this time of year? Give yourself the gift of an afternoon coloring in the meeting room at the library, especially if you haven't experienced coloring before.
The mood is relaxed in good company. Coloring choices can be used for gift-giving & cards. There will be treats!

Mother Goose Time
Mother Goose Time:
A special half-hour program for infants and toddlers (ages 0-3) and their caregivers, is offered each Monday at 10:30 a.m. Come and bring a friend!
Makerspace invites you to come and go as you please, engaging with all of the library's Makerspace stations on
Mondays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Stations include Arduinos, Makey Makeys and Squishy Circuits, sewing, sticker-making and duct tape crafts, painting and more! Best of all, the LEGOs and LEGO table are here for everyone to enjoy!

Phytoplankton from Space
with Bryce Penta
November 24, 2018
Bryce Penta is a microbiology doctoral student at Oregon State University who studies the microscopic plants of the ocean, phytoplankton, that form the base of the marine food web.
Bryce pairs lab studies and research cruises with satellite -collected data to understand the growth of phytoplankton on global scales.
Bryce will be calling in remotely courtesy of the Oregon Museum of Nature and Science; one of our partners on the NASA @ My Library grant program.
