Family Summer Reading Program
North Lake County Public Library invites you to
the 2017 Family Summer Reading Program:
“Build a Better World!”
June 12* — August 12**
How The Program Works :
SIGN UP! Any person of any age who reads or is read to may sign up. Register for the program during regular library hours, beginning Monday, June 12 at 10:00 AM and ending at 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 12. To register, stop by the library or follow the link (coming soon!) on this website to fill out a form with your name, address, phone number and age. You’ll receive your Reading Record.
READ! Your Reading Record helps you to keep track of time spent reading or listening to someone read to you. (Children and youth must find an adult to sign for them.)
COME BACK! After you’ve completed 4 or more hours of reading, bring your signed Reading Record to the library in order to receive a reading incentive and enter the prize drawings.
**Program ends Saturday August 12 at 4:00 PM. Prizes will be drawn and awarded the following Thursday, August 18, at 10:00 AM.
OUR BIG SPLASH RETURNS! And this year it’s better than ever. Finish all 8 levels and 32 hours of reading and join us in the Library Meeting Room on Tuesday, August 15 as we host our finishers’ “Happy Hippo” Excursion.
* = registration begins at 10 AM, June 12 & can be done digitally
** = the last day to turn in reading logs is August 12 at 4 PM
