More Free Computer Classes Offered at Library

Free technology classes are being offered at North Lake County Public Library in Polson during the month of April. Space is limited, so please call the library at 406-883-8225 to register. As always, if you see a class you'd like to take, but can't make it at the scheduled time, call for an individual free session. The library is located at #2 First Ave. East.

iPad Basics

Not sure how to set up or use your iPad? This class is for you! The session will cover: setting up an Apple ID, logging into WiFi, running updates to your device and your apps, and downloading/deleting apps from the App Store.

Up in the Air: What is the Cloud, and How do I Use it?

Wondering where the Cloud is and why you should use it? This class will introduce you to the various ways to compute in the Cloud! Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Apple all have cloud-based software, and this class will show you each one and give you a short overview of how to set up an account and upload your files. You will need a valid email address to set up any accounts.

This class is for those with little or no experience using Microsoft Word. We will be learning Word 2010. The session will teach you how to create a new document, change your font size and color, spell and grammar check, and print and save your document.
