2014 Family Summer Reading Program
North Lake County Public Library’s annual Family Summer Reading Program begins Monday, June 16, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. Participants of all ages are invited to stop in and sign up for the popular summer-long event. This year’s theme is “Fizz, Boom, READ!”
Anyone who reads -- or is read to -- is eligible to participate. Readers can register at North Lake County Public Library in Polson during working hours any time from June 16 through July 23. Many exciting theme-related prizes and reading incentives will be offered.
Weekly Thursday morning programs begin for school-aged children on June 19. All Thursday programs are at 10:00 a.m. at the library or an announced location. They will run through August 7, which is the date of the annual Bug Race. The drawing for prizes will be Thursday, August 14 in the meeting room. Participants need not be present to win, but several mystery prizes will be given away to those who attend.
If you do not have a library card, you may register for one at the circulation desk. Library cards are free and available to anyone age five and up. Anyone under the age of 18 needs a parent or guardian to sign for a new card.
For questions, please call North Lake County Public Library in Polson at 883-8225 or stop by the circulation desk.
