North Lake County Public Library’s annual Family Summer Reading Program began Monday, June 10 at 10:00 a.m. Participants of all ages are invited to stop in and sign up for the popular summer-long event. This year’s theme is “Dig into Reading!”
Anyone who reads -- or is read to -- is eligible to participate. Readers can register at North Lake County Public Library in Polson during working hours any time from June 10th through July 27th. Theme-related prizes and reading incentives will be offered.
Weekly Thursday morning programs will begin for school-aged children on June 13th. All Thursday programs will be at 10:00 a.m. at the library or an announced location. They will run through August 8th, which is the date of the annual Bug Race. The drawing for prizes will be Thursday, August 15th, in the meeting room. Participants need not be present to win, but several mystery prizes will be given away to those who attend.
If you do not have a library card, you may register for one at the circulation desk. Library cards are free and available to anyone age five and up. Anyone under the age of 18 needs a parent or guardian to sign for a new card.
